She is such a professional driver that I know I will gain a lot of tips from her and I’m really looking forward to that. She's also a great person and very approachable, so I can't wait to be working with her." said Ilsa.

Best Race/drive and why? Final race in the 1995 championship. Although spinning off whilst battling hard for the lead of the race, fought back through the field to get 3rd place overall in the race & therefore secure the overall championship title
Worst Race/drive and why? My very first outing in 1987 at Brands – what a nerve racking experience! Ended in the Armco at ‘Surtees’ on Lap 4 of the race!
Favourite Circuit/Venue Difficult to decide between Thruxton and Castle Combe!
Types of cars competed/owned Started in Suzuki Swift, the a VW Golf GTI, then Peugeot 205s & most recently a Peugeot 306.
Best car driven/owned Peugeot 205 with which I won the championship in 1997. Highly modified – bored out to 2200cc engine with 230+ b.h.p.
Funny Stories Whilst doing a 500km race at Brands Hatch on the 27.9.87, 2 days before Brian and I got married (!!), getting car sick WHILST driving the undulating circuit and actually being sick in helmet & balaclava! I had to do a quick pit stop to ‘shake out’ and then put said balaclava & helmet back on & finish the race! (My daughter Emily was born 9 months later…!!!)
