Teamed up with Lee Gill Racing as a Development Driver & enjoyed multiple Top 10 and Top 5 Finishes. Best finish in 2009 was 2nd place, finishing right behind National ASA Champion, Tommy Cloce.

This year, I have been invited to be a Development Driver for the Lyn St. James Driver Development Program & just returned from Phoenix, AZ where I completed Phase 1 of the training. Will be returning in March for Phase 2, again in Phoenix, AZ. Currently working with Core Performance & Athlete's Performance to help maximize my physical training to compete in bigger cars.

Plans for the 2010

Continue short track Late Model program, but moving to a NASCAR sanctioned track...probably Lake Erie. Also, I have teamed up with Team LaCross MotorSports in Tully, NY to compete in several ARCA Re/Max races. Will start with 1/2 mile short track events, then move to mile long. Planning on 6 ARCA races in 2010 so that I retain my Rookie status if I get the opportunity to race a full season in 2011.

In preparation, I will be attending Andy Hillenburg's Advanced Short Track Driver Development Program in the spring. This is held at Rockingham. Just a side note...At age 17, I will be the YOUNGEST FEMALE DRIVER to ever compete in a NASCAR ARCA Re/Max event.

Also planning to apply to the Drive for Diversity Program in 2010. Gonna be busy...gonna win some races...gonna learn a LOT and gonna have some FUN!!

Other Accomplishments:

50 go-kart wins in 3 years of racing

1st WIN in a 1200cc MiniSprint on Sept 1, 2007 at age 14 at Whip City Speedway, beating Erin Crocker's record to become the youngest female driver ever to win a feature event in a MiniSprint car

Schedule

I am the only female driver in any class @ Adirondack Int'L Speedway & the 1st & only female to tour with the CRSA Sprint tour in 2008. I sold both of my 1200cc MiniSprint Cars & we bought a full size 305 Sprint Car and an Asphalt Late Model Car. I will be racing the 305 Sprint car touring throughout the NorthEast with the CRSA RaceSaver Series. Also plan to put a 360 motor in the car by mid-late season & pick up a few races with the ASCS Patriots & the Empire Super Sprints. This will also be my 1st year in my new Asphalt Late Model car...will be racing @ Adirondack Int\'l Speedway on Saturday nights starting May 17th & going thru Sept 6th, 2008. Should be a big year, lots to learn & always moving forward to what's next..

Sierra will be making about 1/2 of the Bud Lite 12 Pack indoor minisprint races this winter at Mototown USA in Windsor, CT Weather (4 hour travel time each way) will play a factor and family activities like skiing and a trip to Eastern Carribean will interfere with schedule at times. Sierra will also be going to the Nationals in Indiana in the spring.
