Sandy, Steven and Randy Fisher, "Dummy" Hoy. Work is
underway on this book, using old newspaper clippings and records,
rare photographs of the Hoy family, the extensive documentation
compiled by the author's/researcher's, the team is preparing a
meticulously researched biography of the first deaf major-leaguer.
There will be an appendix containing a genealogical note on Hoy's
ancestry, and information on the Meyer and Nowak play. Although
"Dummy" Hoy has been mentioned in numerous books, and is the
subject of innumerable newspaper and magazine articles, there is,
