Bremelanotide Bulletin
This drug works very differently than Viagra and Cialis et al - which
target ‘plumbing’ issues - whereas Bremelanotide actually
causes arousal in the brain. Recently the FDA failed to approve it as
a treatment for men with ED - citing concerns with high blood
pressure in some individuals - but allowed for it to be resubmitted
later as a possible second-line treatment (ie. for those who cannot
use or do not respond to Viagra etc). Interestingly, current ED drug
treatments made it through the approval process even though they can
LOWER blood pressure.
