Our mission.
The Hepatitis Foundation International (HFI) is dedicated to the eradication of viral hepatitis, a disease affecting over 500 million people around the world. We seek to raise awareness of this enormous worldwide problem and to motivate people to support this important – and winnable – battle.
Our mission has four distinct parts:
To accomplish this, we provide education, training programs, and materials for the public, patients, health educators, and medical professionals. We also support hepatitis research, provide a patient telephone support network, answer a toll-free hotline, maintain a database of hepatitis support groups, and host this web site, your gateway to liver care and hepatitis information.
