Menstuff® has compiled the following about Jerry Bigner.
It is with great sadness that I report the passing Jerry Bigner, on July 30, 2011. Jerry was a pioneer on research of Gay families and fathers, and, for many years, the editor of GLBT Family Journal. I met Jerry in the late 90's when I was involved in creating a workshop for Gay fathers. Over the years he was a wonderful resource person and available to respond in personal and professional capacities in our work together. Along with our friendship, Jerry was on the Denver 2001 planning committee for the national conference on men and masculinity of NOMAS, where he was a keynote speaker on gay families. He will be sorely missed. - Moshe Rozdzial.
