Menstuff® has compiled the following information on the availabillity of men's books.
From a review of mens+issues versus womens+issues at Amazon.com on 5/19/04, we found a total of 2279 women's books versus only 570 for men. We sorted the men's issues books by "Best Selling" and found that at least 42 of the top 100 selling books imply a religious connection in their titles. The inference we make from this is that the average man or spouse of the average man doesn't buy books that involve a men's issue like health, fathering, relationship, etc. And, that Christian men or their spouses buy a lot of men's issues books around spirituality.
Of the top 100 books, 47 showed a publicatoin date.
