Jennifer was born in a small town in Indiana to
a well known auto restorer. Growing up in the shop
and at the track, it was inevitable that Jennifer
would have a love for cars and a thrill for speed.
After meeting the famed Shirley Muldowney at the
U.S. Nationals in 1987, Jennifer quickly became
drag racing's number one fan with dreams of one day
competing with the best. Jennifer began racing in
1999 not only as a hobby, but as a lifelong
passion.
Through the years Jennifer raced in several
classes including Sport Compacts, Super Stock, and
Nostalgia Funny Cars. She achieved success in
bracket racing at local tracks starting out in a 16
second 1995 4-door Dodge Neon 5-speed. Working her
way up from the bottom, she never lost sight on her
ultimate dream.
In 2005 Jennifer married her Sailor of the
United States Navy and moved to Hawaii. She would
then compete twice a year back in Indiana during
that time. With almost a four year break from what
she does best, Jennifer is now taking the steps
necessary to establish a professional racing
career.
Career Goals
Jennifer has her sights set on attaining Top
Alcohol License to compete in Top Fuel, Top
Alcohol, or Funny Car.
Driven for Success
Jennifer Compton Racing was established in 2010
by Chad and Jennifer Compton. With Jennifer's
dreams of being a professional drag racer and
Chad's dreams of owning a business, they saw the
opportunity to take a step toward both of their
dreams.
Jennifer Compton Racing is ready to establish a
name in Racing. Attending The U.S. Nationals every
year since the age of three, Jennifer developed a
passion for drag racing at an early age. With many
years of racing different classes in the sport she
has taken the necessary steps to move forward with
her life time dream of a full time racing career by
attending Frank Hawley’s Drag Racing School in
Gainesville, FL on Feb. 17th, 2010. Being a
successful graduate of the school and earning her
NHRA License and Competition Number, Jennifer is
ready to take on a new class of drag racing.
With Drive, Determination, Passion, and Talent
Jennifer has her sights set on Success not only for
herself but for her sponsors alike! As a rookie in
this race class, Jennifer already has established a
true fan base of fans eager to see her do what she
does best, Drive!
As the wife of a Future United States Naval
Flight Officer, Jennifer tours many bases and has
friends and fans all over the world. She has future
plans of making appearances along side her dragster
at many bases across the country in efforts of
showing support for Sailors, Troops, and their
wives & families.

Results
Jennifer began 2010 with attending Frank
Hawley's Drag Racing School where she became
licensed in Super Comp Dragsters. Her best run of
the two day course was: R/T: .013 ; E.T. 8.01 @ 166
mph.
During the 2010 season Jennifer attained more
successful seat time in super comp and top dragster
classes, as well as worked along side Chaplin Glen
Launey and his altered dragster raising money for
Special Operations Warrior Foundation and Operation
Pocket Change: Treats for Troops at several events
held at Bradenton Motorsports Park.
