18 year old Meagan Creech will pilot her #13 Toyota Camry in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Late Model Stock Car Series in hope of capturing the “rookie of the Year” honors at Kenly, North Carolina’s Southern National Raceway in 2012. Creech has the mindset of a champion and the heart of lion as she approaches a new facility and moves from Limited Late Model series at South Boston Speedway into full scale Late Model Stock Cars. This move takes Meagan one step closer to every local racer’s dream. With 8 top ten finishes in the 2011 season at SOBO, she looks to take that experience and gain momentum turning top tens into top fives.

When asked about her drive for 2012 Meagan simply stated “every time you go out, it’s like you have to prove yourself all over again. This year I hope to gain the respect as others do and show that I belong there”. Entering only her third year as a NASCAR competitor Creech has moved from 3 top tens in her first 5 races in 2010 top a threat for the top five on a weekly basis.

Something new for Meagan in 2012 is the chance to team up with “Race4Girls”. As one of only 15 drivers chosen for the 2012 season Meagan is prepared to turn her story into an even bigger success. “Race4Girls is a community where motorsports fans and sponsors come together to provide funding for equipment for women moving into and through professional race car driving.”

“I am excited about teaming up with Race4Girls, and look to represent them well at Southern National Raceway” said Creech. Come March 3rd the NASCAR weekly racing world will have its eyes set on Southern National Raceway for their season opener and grand re-opening for the facility. This is where Meagan Creech will step into her Race4Girls Toyota Late Model Stock Car for the first time and we look forward to bringing you weekly releases after each race. Everyone have a safe race season!
