Degree in Business coupled with an Associate Degree
in Automotive Marketing.
Renshaw grew up in a family with two brothers
and a desire for speed. As a child, Renshaw could
be found behind the wheel of anything with an
engine, including motorcycles, four-wheelers,
jet-skis and eventually a Legends car before she
pursued a career in stock car racing.
In 1996, Renshaw attended the Legends Driving
School in Charlotte, North Carolina followed up in
1998 by attending the FastTrack High Performance
Driving School at both Atlanta Motor Speedway and
Lowe's Motor Speedway in Charlotte.
For the 1999 and 2000 season, Renshaw competed
in the Late Model Stock Car division at the
Highland Rim Speedway where she finished fifth in
points, runner-up Rookie of the Year and earned the
Pit Crew of the Year award. The 2000 and 2001
season found Renshaw competing in the NASCAR Weekly
Racing Series at Fairgrounds Speedway at Nashville
as well as Riverview Speedway. Renshaw made 27
starts throughout the season accumulating three
top-ten finishes, six top-15 finishes and one pole
position which included setting the track record at
Riverview Speedway.
Renshaw also spent much of the final half of the
2001 season doing some testing for various
professional race teams including Andy Hillenburg's
ARCA RE/MAX Series team at Atlanta Motor Speedway
as well as testing with Ultra Motorsports in a
NASCAR Craftsman Truck at Lakeland Speedway.
In 2002 Renshaw made history by becoming the
first female to lead the point's race in a
NASCAR-sanctioned series at Fairgrounds Speedway.
Deborah started all but
one of the Craftsman Truck Series races for 2005
and placed 24th of 93 drivers. Her earnings were
